Elisa Faustina explores the concepts of psychoanalysis and urban spiritualism which bring a surreal nuance to her abstract expressionist paintings. She has a mature art style resulting from her keen observation of human emotions and their complexities: sadness, despair, anger, disenchantment, despondency, shame, emptiness, peace, pleasure, joy, etc.
For Elisa, abstract forms bring out the true essence of colours and emotions. It gives the perception of space. For her, the pigments sprinkled inorganically into disparate shapes lends to unlimited freedom of thought.
